Human Body Systems

Step 1. Questions

The organs of the human body are organized into groups called body systems. Each system fulfills a specific task to keep the body alive and healthy.

For this e-Journal project, you will research and report on a body system of your choice. Here are some study questions to guide your research.
  • What are the components of the body system? What does each component do, and how do the components work together?
  • What are some common diseases of the body system?
  • How can people keep the body system healthy?
  • What questions do you have about body systems?
To research the answers to these questions, visit the Web sites listed in Step 2. You may also use search engines to research other Web sites, or consult encyclopedias or other reference sources at the library. Then, follow Steps 3 and 4 to write your report.
