Step 1. Questions
Your career is an important choice that only you can make. A career helps you contribute to your community and lets you accomplish life goals. A career also lets you earn a living! Throughout your life, you may have one career or several careers.
Are you interested in a career in health? There are more health careers than you might imagine! For this e-Journal project, you will research and report on at least two health careers.
Here are questions to ask about a career.- What kind of work does the career involve?
- What salary range does the career offer?
- What kind of education or training does the career require?
- Do the people who choose the career share any particular personality traits?
- How strong is the demand for more workers in this field?
Visit the Web sites listed in Step 2 and take notes about what you learn. You may also use search engines to find more sites. Or, research health careers at the library or through the school counselor. Health professionals may be willing to talk to you about their careers, too.
When you are ready, follow Steps 3 and 4 to write your report.
